Homemade Cranberry Mallow Pie

I decided to do this purely because I bought a bag too full of cranberries. And they were so sour. Never knew fresh cranberries taste THAT sour.

Simmered these cranberries and they actually popped (like popcorns). I was kinda amazed.

Could have stopped right at the cranberry sauce since it was already in a more edible form but I wanted to take it further. Googled for cranberry recipes and I found something that is relatively simple and doesn't require much ingredients to make. I'm lazy (if it isn't obvious enough already).

Tadah! It was a success (minus the aesthetic value).

Time to eat humble pie!
