Domino's Pizza Grand Opening

The worldwide pizza delivery has landed in Singapore!

Having two branches set up in Bukit Timah and Tanjong Katong last year, Domino's had their Grand Opening on the 19^th January and us Lazy Foodies were invited to their bloggers' event.

We are the 67^th country that Domino's has established its presence in.

Needless to say, there was food tasting.

One of the biggest selling point of Domino's Pizza is speed. They guarantee a 30 minute delivery and 15 minute take-out upon placement of order, and if Domino's fails to meet the targeted time, the next regular pizza would be on them!

A pizza expert present gave us several tips on telling a good pizza from a bad one by checking the crust and so forth. Domino's do not compromise quality for speed, which also makes up their last guarantee - product satisfaction guarantee. In other words, customers do not have to worry about having a bad pizza because of a swift job.

My favourite part of the event was the 'behind the scenes' tour, where we got introduced to the kitchen process and try some hands-on pizza making.

Currently, the delivery service is only available to residents living within a 10 minute drive time of the two outlets, but fret not, Domino's is targeting between 9 to 10 stores by year end so that they could reach every Singaporean islandwide. Orders can be made online, over the phone, or at the restaurant itself.
